ImportIcons.com is the brainchild of two partners: Jen Han and Jaxon. Jen is the photographer, model coordinator, and creative force behind the photo shoots. Jaxon is the web designer, webmaster, business dude, and computer geek. Jen and Jaxon met in 2001 while working on a now-defunct model website. Jen was called in to shoot a few models, while Jaxon was the webdesigner and webmaster of the site since its inception. The two became fast friends, bonded by their mutual trust and shared beliefs in honesty, integrity, high standards, and strong work ethics. Fast-forward three years to the Fall of 2004. Jaxon's full-time employer disbanded his small company, but Jen and Jaxon continued to work together as the photographer and webmaster for Playboy Playmate Deanna Brooks. The two friends had often spoken of creating a venture together, and suddenly the timing was right. Firestorm Entertainment, Inc., a California corporation, was formed in December 2004, solidifying the partnership. The company's primary goals were twofold: Within a few months, planning was complete for an import model website. Not just another wannabe fansite, but a website that would truly raise the bar on what a website with hot Asian girls and other exotic models from the automotive industry should be. The site was christened ImportIcons.com, and shooting began in early March, 2005. No expenses were spared - Import Icons wouldn't be just another garage-and-motel model shoot operation. Within an astonishing eight weeks, all pre-launch shoots were complete, the website was fully functional, and ImportIcons.com blitzed the industry, launching on May 05, 2005. No import model had ever experienced such high production values, friendly crews, or beautiful results. No website could match the uncompromising quality that Import Icons presented. Nobody could keep up with the frenzied pace of updates, which occur every single weekday, rain or shine. Never before had import model fans beheld thousands of completely original, high resolution photos or extremely high quality behind-the-scenes videos of the caliber that ImportIcons.com offered. Continuing with an absolutely ferocious pace of expansion, Firestorm Entertainment, Inc. added several new model websites in the following months: iHeartJennyChu.com, home to import model sweetheart Jenny Chu; KatherineThom.com, the official website of celebrated model Katherine Thom; KatGutierrez.com, Asian dream girl Kat Gutierrez' headquarters; and IconsCash.com, the largest import model website affiliate network in the world. With a combined 35 updates and over two gigabytes of new content added every month, the Import Icons Network has already completely redefined the import model website concept. Firestorm Entertainment, Inc. is constantly looking forward to a future of continued expansion, based on the same core values Jaxon and Jen have always held. |
