Import Model Interview: Nina Truong

ImportIcons - Hi Nina! Thank you for being our October 2007 Import Model Spotlight!
Nina - Hey what's up? Thanks for having me.

ImportIcons - So we've heard that you're quite a popular model in Florida ! Tell us...how did you get started in modeling?
Nina - It actually started when I attended Slam Fest 2000 and I was just looking at cars when I got approached by every sponsor asking me to pose for their car. So I did it for kickz. And next thing you know, I'm a model. LOL

ImportIcons - Awesome! We've heard a lot of models actually started that way. Sexy girls at car shows definitely get approached to take pics. So what was your first photo shoot experience like?
Nina - Scary. I didn't know what to expect. I had 3 or 4 photographers taking pics at the same time. I was nervous and shy. My legs were shaking. My body started to hurt from the different poses I had to be in. But in the end, the pics came out great!

ImportIcons - Hahahah, yeah most people think that modeling is easy...but it's definitely not. So what's the Florida Import scene like?
Nina - Every week there's a car show here. Florida gets down on their ridez. Beautiful girls, hot rides, lots of competition.

ImportIcons - Do you have a favorite car show that you like to attend?
Nina - Hot Import Nights. I attend their Orlando show every year. I get to meet all my fans and take pics with them. I like to show love back to the people who believe in me.

ImportIcons - Yeah, Hot Import Nights are always fun. Do you plan on attending any out of state shows in 2008?
Nina - I have not done any out of state yet. But I would love to soon. It would be a great experience.

ImportIcons - So besides your MySpace page, do you have an official website as well?
Nina - My official page is under construction right now: NinaTruong.com. But keep checking, it should be up and running real soon. Until then I'm always on MySpace with updated pics!

ImportIcons - So now that we know a little bit more about how you got into modeling... we're gonna get a little more personal... Are you currently single or do you have a bf?
Nina - Nina is on the market. Yes, I'm single!

ImportIcons - Is there a certain type of guy you go for?
Nina - I love Latin men. The long hair with braids turns me on. I haven't had luck with them so maybe I'll switch it up. As long he is funny and has a nice bike...’cause I ride a bike myself.

ImportIcons - Wow cooool! A girl riding a bike is hot!

ImportIcons - So do you model full time or are you going to school or working as well?
Nina - I'm a hairstylist / salon manager of 4 years. I also do marketing promotions. Modeling is what I like to do on my free time, and hopefully it will be full time before I get too old. LOL

ImportIcons - Nice!! working full time and modeling as well? That probably keeps your crazy busy!
Nina - Yeah I'm always busy...! LOL
